Get Creative for CASA with the Young Philanthropist Project and Canvas & Cocktails

Adams & Broomfield Counties, CO – The Young Philanthropist Project of Adams & Broomfield Counties wants you to tap into your inner artist and get creative for a good cause at Canvas & Cocktails for CASA on Monday, September 27th at 6:30 p.m. Canvas and Cocktails, a new, hip art studio, is located in the heart of Cherry Creek North at 249 Clayton Street, in between 2nd and 3rd Avenue. Proceeds from the evening will aid CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties in its fight against child abuse.

Tickets are $40 per person and include art instruction and supplies, appetizers and delicious desserts! Cocktails are available for purchase at the venue. Guests will paint a colorful Venetian landscape titled “Sunset in Venice ” that is sure to serve as a memorable event souvenir and fantastic art addition for any family. Canvas & Cocktails, recently featured on 9 News and voted Best Art Instruction by Denver 7’s A-List, is the metro’s newest and most exciting evening out and a great way to help support CASA. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that trains, supports and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of innocent child victims of abuse and neglect. Each year, in Adams and Broomfield Counties, there are over 1,300 children who have been physically, sexually or emotionally abused or neglected, and who are in desperate need of a caring, committed CASA Volunteer to speak up for their best interests. In Adams and Broomfield Counties , there are over 200 CASA volunteers, and we are in need of more great community members to become advocates for children.
