CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties Joins in Colorado Gives Day

Adams & Broomfield Counties, CO – CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties has joined GivingFirst.org, Community First Foundation and FirstBank for Colorado Gives Day on Wednesday, December 8th beginning at Midnight. Donations to CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties can be made through the GivingFirst website during this 24-hour period and will be increased thanks to a $250,000 commitment from Colorado-based FirstBank.
“We are very excited to launch this new initiative that has the potential to dramatically increase charitable giving in our state. Our nonprofit sector is struggling and we have identified the opportunity of utilizing online philanthropy to change the landscape of giving in Colorado ,” Ken Eggeman, President & CEO of Community First Foundation said. “FirstBank is an ideal partner to join us in this effort and we look forward to welcoming the support of the local community as we move forward.”

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that trains, supports and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of innocent child victims of abuse and neglect. Each year, in Adams and Broomfield Counties, there are over 1,300 children who have been physically, sexually or emotionally abused or neglected, and who are in desperate need of a caring, committed CASA Volunteer to speak up for their best interests. In Adams and Broomfield Counties , there are over 200 CASA volunteers, and we are in need of more great community members to become advocates for children.
