Denver, Colo. – August 4, 2010 – The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders will host a Calendar Release Party and the 2nd Annual Race to Keep Kids on Track on August 13-14, 2010 at The Track in Centennial, Colo. Proceeds from this event benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver as well as the Kempe Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.
The event was created to encourage more people to support the critical needs of at-risk youth within the Denver community, so more of our youth have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Attendees will race in go-karts against Denver Broncos Cheerleaders for prizes and receive a complimentary 2011 calendar, autographs, food and beverages. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on August 13 with private VIP reception and Cheerleader Qualifying Trials. The public Race Day and official calendar release will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14. Tickets are required for all events and are available online at www.keepingkidsontrack.org or may be purchased on the day of the events.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver keep kids on track by inspiring and enabling young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Clubs offer proven programs that help youth gain the developmental assets they need to succeed in life. Club members participate in a variety of programs that include character and leadership development, education and career development, technology, the arts, health and life skills, and sports, fitness and recreation.

The Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club opened in the Montbello neighborhood in 2003. The Club serves more than 1,500 kids each year, and has been home to the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center since 2008.
