Adams and Broomfield Counties, CO – CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams & Broomfield Counties is excited to offer the opportunity to win six box tickets, valued at $480, to the magical Cirque du Soleil performance of “Alegria” on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the FirstBank Event Center in Broomfield .
The Cirque de Soleil tickets for this raffle were generously donated by the City and County of Broomfield , with all proceeds benefitting CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties and its fight against child abuse and neglect
Members of the community can purchase a $50 raffle ticket for the chance to win one of three sets of tickets, with three winners in all. Winners will be selected at 10 am on January 14th, 2011 at 1100 Judicial Center Drive in Brighton . Individuals need not be present to win, and will be contacted by phone. “Alegria”, which means “jubilation” in Spanish, focuses on the theme of power and its evolution across time. Fun for all ages, “Alegria” features kings’ fools, minstrels, beggars, old aristocrats, children and clowns to delight the whole family. The Cirque du Soleil production is holding just eight engagements at the FirstBank Center in Broomfield .
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that trains, supports and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of innocent child victims of abuse and neglect. Each year, in Adams and Broomfield Counties, there are over 1,300 children who have been physically, sexually or emotionally abused or neglected, and who are in desperate need of a caring, committed CASA Volunteer to speak up for their best interests. In Adams and Broomfield Counties , there are over 200 CASA volunteers, and we are in need of more great community members to become advocates for children.
