CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Adams and Broomfield Counties is calling on artists to participate in their annual 'Indulge for CASA' art contest, a component of one of the organization's most popular community events. 'Indulge for CASA' is a fundraising event that provides the community with a chance to enjoy wine, hors d' oeuvres and decadent desserts and the opportunity to participate in a live and silent auction that raises much needed funds to aid in their fight against child abuse. The event will be held at Balistreri Vineyards located at 1946 East 66th Avenue in Denver on July 21, 2011 from 6 -10 pm. Tickets will go on sale in May.
CASA is in search of artists to create an "Indulge for CASA" image on an 11x17 canvass to donate to the organization. All donated art pieces will be judged in the 'Indulge for CASA Art Contest' that will take place on April 25, 2011 at the CASA Classic Golf Tournament to be held at Hyland Hills Golf Course in Westminster, CO. The winner will be selected by popular vote.
The winning art piece will be used in all marketing materials as the official 2011 Indulge for CASA Artwork and will be auctioned off at the Indulge for CASA event, with proceeds to benefit CASA. The winning artist will also receive four tickets to the Indulge for CASA Event and the opportunity to autograph printed replicas of their artwork on that evening. If you are interested in participating, please visit www.casa17th.org and click on the 'Indulge for CASA' link or call 303.655.3927. Artwork must be received by May 20, 2011.
