COMMERCE CITY, CO – Kroenke Sports Charities announced today that they will host their 4th Annual Colorado Rapids’ World Cup of Wine & Beer charity tasting event with the team on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 6:00-9:00pm at Dick's Sporting Goods Park .The event will feature the Rapids players and coaches, beer provided by Heineken USA and Coors, fine wine from various countries and tastings from Denver restaurants. The event will be held down on the field level at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held inside on the suite level).
Tickets are $65/person and include admission to the event, wine, beer, food tastings, gaming tables, a photo opportunity with the 2010 MLS Cup, silent auction and more!

The World Cup of Wine and Beer is one of several fundraising events put on annually by Kroenke Sports Charities, designed to raise money and awareness in the fight against child hunger and to support positive youth development opportunities in Colorado .
