"GIVING THANKS TO A CAREGIVER" FOOD DRIVE {SOUTH ADAMS COUNTY FIRE STATION #4}
It's that time of the year again where we start to think about special things for the holidays. For A Caretaker's Wish it's the time we start to think about what we can do for Caregivers in the community. Those in Caregiving situations often dread this time of year mainly because there is only one income in the family. The "Giving Thanks to a Caregiver" program has been implemented to show Caregivers we are grateful for their everyday service to care for others who otherwise could not care for themselves. As our way to show appreciation to our Caregivers, A Caretaker's Wish is collecting food donations to provide Thanksgiving meals for as many Caregivers and their families as possible. Thanksgiving Food boxes will be delivered to families between November 21-23.

Carnival and Fun Run Saturday June 11th in Reunion
Ellie’s Annual Carnival is the brain child of Ellie’s Auntie Laura. When Ellie was first diagnosed, she was looking for a way to help the family and came up with the idea of a Carnival for Ellie. It was such a success that we have made it an annual event. By continuing this tradition, we have been able to help fund some amazing programs at Children’s Hospital here in Denver, including SuperSibs, Beads of Courage, Flashes of Hope Photography and the art program. We have also been able to help fund an awesome organization called Give Kids The World – www.gktw.org.
